Italee Eyephorics 2.5 Swissflex Frames: Repair & Lens Options

Do You Have an Italee, Eyephorics or 2.5 Frame?

If your temples say Eyephorics, Italee, or 2.5, you likely have a discontinued frame. Eyephorics Italee 2.5 repair options are extremely limited — parts are no longer made. Artisan Eyewear is a supplier of Swissflex and can help you understand what’s possible and arrange service if your frame qualifies.

Which one do you have?

1. Examine the images below; if the outer edge of the lens is smooth (no notch) and the hinge’s c hook faces in, they are likely repairable or serviceable.

2. If the c hook faces out, if there is a notch in the lens edge, or if the temple says words like eyephorics, italee, 2.5 — it’s likely your frame is of the discontinued design. If you’d like confirmation or are otherwise unsure, please take a few in-focus closeup photos of your frame and email or text them to us.

Artisan Eyewear only services and sells original Swissflex frames. Use the images above to identify your own frame.

Can Your Discontinued Swissflex Frame be Repaired or Re-Lensed?

If you have a Swissflex frame that is ‘discontinued’: We offer the option of re-creating your glasses using ‘current’ Swissflex products. Mail the glasses to us, email/mail your eyeglass prescription, and we can pull all measurements.

If you have a serviceable Swissflex frame and want new lenses: in most instances this is an option. We can’t create progressive lenses via mail without measurements taken in-person by an optician, but if your old lenses are progressives we can pull measurements off them.

Artisan Eyewear is one of the few opticians in the USA with expertise in Italee, Eyephorics, and 2.5 Swissflex discontinued frames.
