Faniel is based in Val-Morin in the picturesque Laurentides region of Quebéc, about 5 hours north of Artisan Eyewear. This family-owned and operated eye wear brand is led by Anne-Marie Faniel, a multidisciplinary artist and soprano opera singer. She refers to her creations as ‘jewellry frames’ meant to reveal the unique personality of the wearer. The Océana collection is designed by Anne-Marie’s daughter, Clara, while her husband and son work in production, management and more. A true family company!
All Faniel frames are produced in-house; the brand has taken the initiative to collect and recycle acetate scraps, creating their own new and unique material. Very few eye wear brands have this level of control.
