Artisan Eyewear is an authorized Swissflex Dealer and services Swissflex Eyewear both locally and nationally via mail.

If your Swissflex frames have sustained damage, breakage, or a piece is missing, we can help.

Swissflex components aren’t repairable per se, but because they are modular the broken part(s) can be replaced.

Swissflex Lens Replacement

If you wish to have Artisan Eyewear make new lenses for your ‘old’ Swissflex frame, we are happy to help!

For mail-orders: Please email us a photo of your current eyeglasses prescription and complete this form. We will require you to mail us the frame to complete the order.

For in-person orders: No appointment is necessary!

Limitations To Consider: Mail-Ordered Swissflex repairs lens replacement

Lens Shape

Working via mail means you can’t order a lens shape from us that is new-to-you. You’ll mail us your ‘old’ pair, we’ll trace those lenses and use that pattern to create the new lenses. This is especially important with progressive lenses: your vertical and horizontal measurements will be obtained from your old pair of Swissflex progressives, because we won’t be able to take your measurements in person.

Fitting

Remote adjustment is next to impossible. Opticians need to see you in the frame to know where and how much to shape the temples behind your ears. The best-case scenario is if (1) In the past you haven’t needed much of any adjustment and feel they’ll be fine out of the box, (2) you have a local optician who has worked with Swissflex frames before.

“Discontinued” Swissflex

In the not-too-distant past, a second version of Swissflex was sold in opticals across the USA: Italee eyephorics 2.5. Parts are no longer made, and they aren’t serviceable. However! We can replicate them in the original Swissflex style for you. Click HERE to see if this describes your own frame.
